Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most about buying, hiring and delivering containers and cabins.

What is the difference between a one-trip and a used container?

A one-trip container has made a single cargo voyage from the factory and is close to new. Used containers have been in service for several years; we list them as cargo-worthy or wind & watertight so you know exactly what you are getting.

Do you deliver outside South Africa?

Yes. We ship from Cape Town to all nine South African provinces and by road to Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, Angola and DR Congo. Sea freight is available to other African countries with a port.

How do I pay?

Place your order online and choose EFT. We confirm stock and the delivery date by email, and then send banking details for payment.

Can I hire instead of buying?

Some units, such as bunded stores and site cabins, are available to hire. Send us an enquiry with the unit and hire period and we will come back to you with terms.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is charged per unit by destination and unit size, from R1,750 in Cape Town (launch special: half-price delivery). Your rate is calculated at checkout, and all prices are in South African rand.

What do I need on site for delivery?

A firm, level area with clear access for a truck, and enough space for offloading. Tell us about your site when you order and we will advise on the right delivery vehicle.
